Badges give learners a way to track meaningful growth, celebrate mastery, & build portfolios of real-world skills — all while having fun, making meaningful choices, & discovering who they are.
Learning Blocks & Rotations
At Ceiba Nova, each school day is divided into two learning blocks — one before lunch and one after — creating a steady, predictable rhythm students can rely on.
MAPs
All students have a personalized MAP - a dynamic guide that grows with them, charts their evolving interests, and ensures purposeful, reflective learning in all areas of development.
Paths + Tracks
Paths are developmental learning identities — not based on age or grade, but on a student’s evolving readiness, autonomy, and purpose.
CC, NGSS, & International Standards
Students master all required academic standards but they do so through interest-based activities, thematic learning, & project-driven exploration.
Grades + Transcripts
At Ceiba Nova, students are assessed through a scaled, standards-based grading system using clear, objective rubrics — and we issue official transcripts that are fully transferable to U.S. and European K–12 schools and colleges.
